Georgia Mitchell - Communications Director

Georgia is a third-year student at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) pursuing a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism). Georgia grew up and attended school in Port Macquarie, NSW before relocating to Sydney to begin her tertiary studies. As a regionally-based high school student, Georgia is acutely aware of the educational disparities between rural, regional and urban areas and is committed to giving back and supporting underrepresented students.

From her extensive experience in previous communications and media-based roles, Georgia has honed her skills in effective outreach, communication strategy and community engagement. Currently, Georgia serves as the UTS Law Students’ Society Brennan Program Director for 2023-24, where she assists in actively spearheading initiatives that encourage fellow students to engage in social justice advocacy. Outside of her university studies and commitments, Georgia is currently a paralegal and a UTS U:PASS student leader in Criminal Law and Procedure.

Excited to utilise her communication skills and advocacy for educational equity, Georgia is eager to join and contribute to Inspire Tomorrow Education’s mission by leveraging her previous experiences to inspire future generations in their academic pursuits. She believes in empowering students through providing accessible resources and highlighting the wealth of opportunities available for students considering tertiary studies.
